Welcome!

Hickory Tree is an award-winning women's chorus dedicated to the all-American art form of singing four-part a cappella harmony in barbershop style. 2008 marks our 40th anniversary! We hope you enjoyed our orginal show, "The Best of Times", on September 28, 2008 — and will join us for our Upcoming Performances.

First Place MedalCongratulations!

Hickory Tree Chorus was overjoyed to have again won the First Place blue ribbon at the 2007 Greater New York Region #15 Regional Competition. As Regional Champions, we represented our area in the Sweet Adelines International competition in November 2008, in Honolulu, Hawaii. NEW! List of awards we've won.

Our trip to Hawaii was most rewarding, from competing on the international stage to enjoying the sights and sounds of that lovely island state.

HawaiiSome of us swam with dolphins, breakfasted on the beach at Waikiki, watched the sunset at the 13,700-foot summit of Mauna Kea, zip-lined across Maui, or peered into the caldera of an active volcano. We saw our Sweet Adeline friends from around the world, and created memories we'll always treasure.

As the holidays and the new year arrive, we will give several local performances, learn some new music, and continue work on our skills with some of the world's best teachers and coaches.
