Congratulations Sophie!

We were thrilled to be entertained by our 2024 scholarship winner, Sophie Maher last week.  We were also lucky enough to have her sing tenor with us on the contest stage this spring!

Sophie graduated from Chatham High School and is attending Sacred Heart University College of Health Professions to study Speech Language Pathology. In high school, Sophie participated in chamber choir and theater. Some highlights include, singing at the White House for their holiday open house last December and playing the role of Mrs. Potts in her school production of Beauty and the Beast. This fall, Sophie will be joining the Sacred Heart Choral program. Outside of school, she has been a member of Hickory Tree Chorus, a part of Sweet Adelines International with her mother, Susan. In her free time, Sophie loves to see shows in the city and take care of her chihuahua Roxy and hamster Toast.
